California Wrap Up

Scott had a good weekend as his driver won for a second straight week, we better check him for steriods! Not Scott, his driver Kenseth! Those Rainbow Warriors better be practicing this week, you can't get beat back out of pits with 24 laps left, you just can't! Good job Scott! Con added Labonte to his fold and dropped Gilliland for the remainder of the year, with that move he added 102 to his score last week and Labonte netted him 103 this week, looks like a good decision. Here is the actual rundown and totals for each of this week:

Derek Scott Con Dick

BIFFLE 165 EDWARDS 151 STEWART 147 JOHNSON 143
HARVICK 49 BUSCH 165 EARNHARDT 46 GORDON 175
NEWMAN 79 KENSETH 195 BURTON 67 HAMLIN 150
KAHNE 127 BOWYER 106 TRUEX 82 MARTIN 48
VICKERS 134 MCMURRAY 115 BUSCH 160 RAGAN 112
MEARS 91 MENARD 52 LOGANO 85 SADLER 88
SPEED 40 RUETIMANN 121 LABONTE 103 MONTOYA 135
TOTAL 685 TOTAL 905 TOTAL 690 TOTAL 851

So here is the YTD totals

Derek Scott Con Dick
Daytona 626 737 718 835
California 685 905 690 851
TOTALS 1311 1642 1408 1686

So we are all still really close and one big week by one will vault you to the top, to win you need consistency, look at all of Scott's drivers all but one got 100+, if Menard hadn't of scored so low this week he would really be ahead!
Haven't been able to watch any races at all, I can't wait until my addition is done then on sunday I can just sitdown and wathc a rece, probably won't happen until they switch networks and I have no cable! Have a great week guys!

Just looked on-line and Gilliland is scheduled to drive the #71 this week in CA. It is a 4 race gig, we really need to decide if we let Con grab another driver or stick with him hoping he makes the field and the team continues past the 4 race commitment. Otherwise we need to let him pick another driver to ride out for the year with. Scott and Derek, WHAT SAY YOU?

But like i mentioned in an earlier post, Con had a driver that didn't even start the race! We might need to revisit his last selection and get him another driver that it regularly in the field!

Hey fellas, what a bummer that the thing ended in a rainout, I think my Hendrick boys were posed to make a strong finish! But since Scott's guy got taken out and he was the dominate car of the day it was only fitting anther of his driver took the checkered under the rain out! We might need to make an adjustment on the last pick by Con since Gilliland did not start (DNS)!!!
I have put together another spreadsheet like last year to trck each race and give us totals, I'll see if there is a way we can have that imported onto the blog and we can update it weekely with the points.
